  • The Athletic Collegiate is a hybrid academy for 2nd–4th grade students that blends accredited academics from Laurel Springs School with elite daily athletic training, social emotional learning (SEL), and character development. Hosted inside top-tier athletic facilities, we offer a structured hybrid experience designed to build strong minds, strong bodies, and strong character.

  • We enroll students directly in Laurel Springs School, a fully accredited, NCAA-approved online private school. Each student receives a personalized academic plan. The Athletic Collegiate delivers in-person academic support through certified learning coaches who guide students daily through their coursework.

  • Students are supervised by experienced learning coaches 1:6 ratio during academic blocks and by professional, certified athletic coaches during sports sessions. All staff members undergo background checks and are trained in child safety.

  • We currently enroll students entering 2nd through 4th grade, typically ages 7–9.

  • Each academic pod is capped at 12–14 students to maintain personalized attention, academic focus, and safety.

  • We are actively planning a middle school expansion. In the meantime, families may choose to continue independently with Laurel Springs or transition to another private or homeschool program. Students leave The Athletic Collegiate with a strong academic foundation and athletic discipline.

  • Yes. We offer rolling enrollment depending on availability. Our team will help transition your child’s academic records and customize their Laurel Springs path for a smooth start.

  • Families are encouraged to commit to the full academic year to ensure consistency in both academics and athletic development. However, we also offer flexible enrollment options, including online-only support and assistance enrolling directly with Laurel Springs School for families seeking a more customized path.

  • Our half-day program runs Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Students start with in-person academic support, followed by athletic training and social-emotional learning. The program concludes before noon, leaving afternoons free for rest or enrichment.

  • Drop-off is between 7:45–8:00 AM. Pick-up is promptly at noon. Please be on time, as we do not currently offer extended care.

  • We currently offer tennis through our partnership with Life Time. Additional sports such as golf, swimming, or multi-sport may be added as we grow and expand to new locations.

  • The Athletic Collegiate is a unique alternative to both traditional schools and homeschooling. Our program combines the flexibility of accredited online learning powered by Laurel Spring School with the structure, socialization, and elite athletic training of a private academy.

  • No. While we always encourage family engagement, our learning coaches oversee and support all academic sessions during the program day. Parents receive updates and progress reports but are not expected to be involved in instruction.

  • Our sessions are held inside premier athletic facilities and other locations across North Texas. Each site includes classroom space, training grounds, and safe access to all amenities.

  • No. Families are responsible for daily drop-off and pickup. Our program is designed to support flexibility and be conveniently located for families already attending or training at our partner facilities.

  • Yes, full enrollment in Laurel Springs School is included in your tuition. Students receive accredited academics, supported by our on-site learning coaches, followed by elite athletic training.

  • We understand that absences may happen. While our flexible academic curriculum allows students to catch up on missed work, athletic training sessions are not made up or rescheduled. Missed lessons cannot be credited or repeated.

  • No. We handle all enrollment and coordination with Laurel Springs on your behalf. Parents receive regular academic reports, but our team manages the onboarding and communication process.

    • 8:00–11:00 AM: In-person academic learning, SEL activities, and enrichment

    • 11:00–12:00 PM: Professional athletic training

    • 12:00 PM: Student pickup

    Afternoons are free for creativity, rest, family time, or additional activities.

We are not a state-licensed childcare facility or private school in Texas, but we operate in full compliance with state homeschool and enrichment program laws.

  • All athletic activities take place at partner facilities (such as Life Time) and are led by certified professionals. Emergency protocols, first aid, and facility waivers are in place for your child’s safety.
