What Is a Learning Coach?

A Learning Coach at The Athletic Collegiate is an in-person mentor who bridges the gap between online academics and real-world social and athletic growth. Our Learning Coaches provide hands-on guidance, encouragement, and supervision throughout the day, ensuring every child has the support and structure to succeed, both in the classroom and on the field.

    Nurturing & Highly Trained

Our Learning Coaches are caring, attentive mentors with backgrounds in education and child development. Every coach is thoroughly vetted and chosen for their ability to support, encourage, and guide scholar-athletes in a positive environment.

    Ongoing Professional Growth

Learning Coaches receive continuous training in academic support, social emotional learning, and character development. This commitment to professional growth ensures they deliver the highest quality guidance, always aligned with our program’s mission.

    Champions of Character

Our coaches are recognized not just for their knowledge, but for modeling the values we teach; integrity, perseverance, and teamwork. Every day, they help students become their best selves, both on and off the field.
